Your roles and responsibilities:
 
  • working with the newest technologies and updated libraries (Node, TypeScript, NestJS, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, AWS)
  • working with microservices architecture
  • designing architecture for new features and further developing existing ones
  • building and writing reusable code and libraries for future use (DDD)
  • bringing your ideas into the product and sharing them with others (also by pair programming)
  • optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • assuring that all user input is validated
  • focusing on the quality of the code employing code review, continuous integration
  • participating in team calls actively sharing your ideas accordingly to scrumban approach
  • participating in a type of start-up project; working on one product
  • working fully remotely
 
To join us we require: 
 
  • to have experience and understanding of high-load, real-time, distributed applications
  • understanding of load distribution, algorithm complexity and data-flow optimisation
  • to have a good skill in data modelling and data denormalization
  • to have experience in building Node web applications
  • to have a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • to have experience working with RabbitMQ and distributed systems
  • to have knowledge and experience in Nest
  • to have experience with non-relational DB’s: Mongo, Cassandra, Influx
  • to have experience with ElasticSearch
  • to have knowledge of Unit and Functional testing (Jest & Mocha) and stress tests
  • understanding of Kubernetes & containerisation
  • understanding of Cloud (AWS) Infrastructure
  • experience working with GIT and distributed codebase
  • to have at least basic experience of using monitoring tools like DataDog
